EXAMINATIONS

AME Examination is conducted by DGCA. Mere completion of the AME course in an Institute will not fetch the students any licence or Degree/Diploma. Only those who successfully complete AME examination, consisting of written and oral examinations, conducted by DGCA,will be eligible for appropriate AME licence. 

PAPER 1

Air Law, Airworthiness Requirements & Human Factors. The students who have completed one year of approved training curriculum in this Institute can appear for this paper.

PAPER II

General Engineering & Maintenance Practices. The students who have completed two years of approved training curriculum here, can appear for this paper.

PAPER III

Airframe consisting of LA,PE,HA,JE. The students who have completed two and a half years of approved training curriculum in Visveswaraya and who passed the paper I & II of the DGCA exam can appear for paper III .

 

SEMESTER EXAMINATIONS

At the end of every six months, Semester Examinations will be conducted. Other than Semester examinations, several other examinations are  also being conducted in the Institute on completion of certain portions within a subject. Viva-voce will be conducted after every semester examination. The DGCA representative may at his discretion associate with the examination. Candidates who are successful in the semester examination shall be issued with a mark sheet giving details of the marks obtained in each subject. On successful completion of the training the Institute shall award a certificate.

QUALIFYING MARKS

The pass mark in each subject is 70%Candidates who are not successful in passing some subjects of a semester may be re-examined for those subject(s) until they pass the complete semester. AME examination conducted by DGCA can be written only after passing the required semester examinations.

ADDITIONAL COACHING FOR FAILED STUDENTS

Students failing in one or two subjects will be given additional coaching in the Institute. All possible help will be offered to the students to make them clear the subjects
