Visveswaraya Institute of Aviation (VIA) is situated in a calm and serene  village in Kottayam district of Kerala, in South India. This Institute is under the overall and able command of the well-known educationist Er. Tom T. Joseph C.Engg. (I) MIE, who is the Accountable Manager. He is also the Director  of Visveswaraya Institute of Engineering Technology, the world famous Institute for AMIE and AMAeSI.

The practical facilities provided here include a 10 seater Learjet heavy Aircraft, a Cessna150 Light aircraft, Aircraft Engines of many types, and  well equipped Airframe shop together with Avionics shop and various mock-ups. The library houses all relevant reference books for the DGCA examination.
